Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 265.10 crore on Wednesday, 21 May 2014, compared with net outflow of Rs 528.60 crore on Tuesday, 20 May 2014.
The net outflow of Rs 265.10 crore on 21 May 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 808.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 1073.70 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 78.86 points or 0.32% to settle at 24,298.02 on that day, its lowest closing level since 16 May 2014.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth a net Rs 1444.50 crore in this month so far (till 21 May 2014).
